Book Recommedations

“Reading is an exercise in empathy; an exercise in walking in someone else’s shoes for a while.” – Malorie Blackman

If you are looking to read and learn then you have come to right place!

Reading books can be an important part of self-development as reading helps you understand and connect with your own experiences and the experiences of others.

Throughout my life, I have found that reading has helped me to learn about the lives of different people and their struggles, encouraging me to self-reflect and feel more compassionate towards myself and others.

As a Counselling Psychologist, sharing book recommendations among colleagues professionals and my clients has been an important part of growing together and sharing experiences.

Books can help you feel more able to articulate the words which fit your experience can be powerful part of owning your story, finding meaning and healing from the past. With this all in mind, here are some of my favourite books....
